Oh, hello.

It is Monday afternoon and I felt inspired to post a little something.

The weather has gone hot these days. I'm okay with it because I haven't started sweating yet. I start school again next week. The thought of it makes me sick so I will say nothing more. Tommy, his friend Josh and I took a quick trip to Phoenix over the weekend to see the Ducks vs. Coyotes hockey game. It was fun, aside from the slaughter of the Ducks that took place on the ice. My favorite part was having a quick adventure with my boo. And having mashed potatoes for breakfast on Sunday.
Tommy's and my one year anniversary is quickly approaching. We're trying to plan something super fun to do but with the Dom, Christmas, New Years, and my birthday being so jam packed together, ideas and resources are low.
I had a Lean Pocket for breakfast this morning. Turkey and broccoli I believe. It was delicious and I intend to have another one when I get home from work. I made a salad and brought it to work to keep myself from snacking on delicious/fattening alternatives. I ate it less than an hour ago and I'm hungry again. I think about food more than I probably should.
This blog is lacking purpose, I realize. But these are the musings on a Monday afternoon in the life of a print shop employee. Cheerio.

Just Thursday

Hello and welcome back to my blog. I realize it has been a while since we last met. My laptop is in Oregon with Josh getting fixed. It wouldn't charge and only functioned when plugged in and apparently to fix this problem, the puter requires a new motherboard. Sounds like a load of bull to me! Just kidding. My parents offered to pay for the upgrades as part of my birthday present (thanks ma and pa!). I am, of course, blogging from work.

Speaking of my birthday, I had one. I am now 24 years old. According to someone who shall remain nameless, I have one more year until I'm fully grown up and capable of making adult decisions. Anyway, Tommy treated me very well on my birthday weekend. I was showered with gifts and stuffed full of excellent foods for 3 days straight. On my actual birthday, as Steph already recounted, we met the family for lunch at Panera and all went to Aunt Clara's house for a holiday gathering. That side of the family gets a little weirder every year. It's about time they caught up with the weird factor on the Dawson side. Tommy and I had to duck out early for our dinner plans at PF Changs. I really truly love their food. We tried the crab won tons for the first time. Oh my. My mouth waters as I think about it.

It is the new year, as I hope you have realized by now. I'm not big on resolutions. All my big plans are foiled within days because my motivation and self-discipline are way crappy. I recently got my gym membership back because I could feel the muscle atrophy and osteoporosis kicking in at an early age and we need to nip that in the bud! I went a couple times with Tommy but went alone for the first time last night. All I did was 25 minutes of cardio and 150 crunches and I swear I woke up today feeling like an invalid. My abs are surprisingly okay, but the muscles in and around my hip joints have been murdered. Anyway, the point. I'm back on the wagon and hoping to be back to my happy body with less fluff around the edges.

Still no marriage, preggers, or babies in my life and therefore a slightly dull blog. I hope everyone had happy chilly holidays!
