Ten Today

1. Last week I was blasting the fan in my office and today I have the heater going. Oh weather, you toy with me. 2. We found a roommate! She moved in April 2nd, the very same day Allison moved out. Her name is Alivia and she just got a job at a church in Yorba Linda and wanted to move ASAP. Hello, perfection. I am feeling extremely blessed to have this work out so flawlessly. 3. We also got DVR. I know, welcome to the 2000's or whatever. We had it at our last place but it was more expensive when we switched cable providers. Alivia required a DVR in her room, so we sprung for one in the living room too. I'm very excited about it and I'm already recording everything from HGTV Selling New York to something about castles on the Travel Channel. Woot! 4. Since I know you were all anxiously awaiting the conclusion of this story: I completed the weather strip front door project. I borrowed a drill from my favorite Franklin family and got it done in about 10 min. I felt a little too powerful with a drill in my hands. I wanted to put holes in everything. 5. Tonight and tomorrow are very important games for the Duckers. They play the Kings both times, and this is pivotal for whether or not they make the playoffs. Too much stress for my little heart to handle. 6. Gracias to Cesar Chavez for giving me a day off Chem. Only 6 weeks of class left! Ahhhhh! 7. Although I'm very hateful towards paying $4.15 for a gallon of gas, I'd like to take a moment to thank my car for giving me fantastic gas mileage. 8. Tommy, thank you for learning how great of a cook you are. My heart and belly are happy. 9. If you'll recall from my last post, I wanted to start running and be good at it. Well, I've started. I've had about 5 quality treadmill sessions in the last 2 weeks and I've already improved how long I can run for. I'm not worried about achieving a fantastic figure or dropping pounds, I just want to feel good and be healthy. 10. Last week Tommy and I went to LA and saw a taping of Conan. He's a funny guy and I like him more than I thought I did. All done. Happy Friday!
