Ten on Tuesday

1. Spring break, wooooooo! I still have work Monday, Wednesday and Friday but today was magical. I slept in late and worried about nothing.

2. Chemistry is officially halfway done. 8 weeks down, 8 to go. Power through!!

3. Tommy and I primed and painted some shelves today. I haven't worked on a project like that in a while and it was fun for me. I've got paint on my hands and under my fingernails and I feel like I accomplished something.

4. I also started a project at home installing some new weather stripping on the front door. It was a little long so I thought I'd cut the rubber down with a razor blade. Baddd choice. I stuck my finger with the blade and spent 30 minutes stopping the bleeding, then lost the motivation and didn't finish the project. Man oh man.

5. Roommate search update: We've met two girls, both were great. One decided the rent is too expensive and the other girl is still not sure. We had two other meetings planned, one Sunday and one today and both were no-shows. Who does that? The girl today didn't even call to cancel or anything. Gahh! Why is this process so difficult?

6. I have to drive to Azusa on Thursday to meet with the financial aid people for nursing school. I also sent in my deposit. I hate money. Most of all I just hate that I have so little of it. And then when I make some, the man already owns it. Damn the man.

7. I want to learn how to be a good runner. I have always loathed it, but I think I'm going to really try. I tend to not do things I'm not good at, but I just need to get over myself and do something. We'll see.

8. I miss my family. It's always been hard being so far from everyone, but I'm feeling extra far away right now.

9. I need to find a church that I really like and actually go to it. I miss it.
