Work is very slow. I'm eating one of those long packages of saltine crackers. It reminds me of high school when Hillary would bring a package of saltines and a water bottle for lunch. I have no memory of what I ate for lunch in high school. Huh.
Tommy and I went to San Diego for the 4th of July. We stayed downtown in the Keating Hotel. It was very very modern and the stairwell smelled like watermelons. We both got ill from a sandwich we ate the first night we were there. We didn't do much since we both felt icky, but we were able to see fireworks from the harbor from our hotel window. That was a nice surprise.
Happy Birthday Catie! The big 2-5 today. Woowoo!
I'm sad we're not taking a family vacation this summer. My heart longs for the lake. It is very hot in Orange County. It is 95 in Yorba Linda right now. I'd love to go for a dip in the cool mountain waters of the Edison Lakes. The apartment pool will have to suffice. I don't enjoy swimming with children I don't know but I will grin and bear it.
I'm reading the 7th Harry Potter book. I was so depressed at the end of the 6th that it's hard to keep going, but I'm just so involved. I'm only allowing myself to read Potter if I have done my Bible reading for the day. Consequently, my Bible reading is going very well.
Happy July to you and yours. Xo!
Um, I hate it break it to you but number 7 is just as depressing. And then you've got The Hunger Games to look forward to. All I can say is, keep reading your Bible, haha.
ReplyDeleteI love the last book! It is my favorite. I love Harry Potter like they are my best friends. I felt true depression when I was finished with all of them. I agree with Krissy Pissy though, Hunger Games are also fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't remember what I ate in highschool either, so I'm glad you remember my cracker habits. I do remember driving in Lindsey's car to your parent's house at lunch time and listening to Good Charlotte, and you guys eating go-gurts and easy macs. And I remember someone farting in Lindsey's car once and she rolled up all the windows because she couldn't smell it and we could. Haha.
